Summary: Yankee Magazine was founded in 1935 and is based in Dublin, New Hampshire. It is the only magazine devoted to New England through its coverage of travel, home, food, and feature stories. With an average circulation of 330,000 and a total audience of 1.9 million, it is published by Yankee Publishing Incorporated (YPI), a family-owned, independent magazine publisher. In 2014, Yankee was named a finalist for "Photography" and "Excellence in Writing" by the National City and Regional Magazine Association. In 2013, Yankee Magazine won the Photography category for the national City and Regional Magazine Association's (CRMA) annual awards. Also in 2013, Yankee was named a finalist for the Column category, and Photography. Yankee Magazine's Best New England Recipes: Homemade Favorites for Every Season won a 2012 National CRMA Award in the category of "Ancillary Publication 2," which judges the best magazine supplements or spinoffs with a circulation of 35,000 or more, based on the quality and creativity of the publication's design and editorial content. 2010 marked its 75th anniversary as New England's magazine. YPI also owns the nation's oldest continuously produced periodical, The Old Farmer's Almanac.
